Hercules von Herford is a gorgeous 11-12 month old long haired German Shepherd. Sweet and loving, he likes to bury his head in your arms and shower you with sweet puppy kisses. Happy, outgoing and ready for fun, Hercules is a bouncy boy whose tail is constantly wagging.  He listens well to his handler if treats are present, since he is eager to please as he shows you a perfect “sit” or “down.” He also has mastered his leash training and easily heels. He loves meeting people on his walks. He’s selective in meeting new dogs but walks great when in a group, as long as there aren’t any face-to-face encounters. In his playgroups, our staff is socializing him so that he can learn to accept more dogs and that training is helping him to reach out and play with more of his buddies. However, he’s a “no” for small dogs.
